EMDR Therapy in Keller, TX

If you're searching for EMDR therapy in Keller, Southlake, or the surrounding Fort Worth area, Living Hope Counseling offers EMDR treatment for adults and teens — both in-person at our Keller office and via telehealth throughout Texas.

What Is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy for trauma and PTSD that is recommended by the American Psychological Association and the World Health Organization. Rather than asking you to talk through difficult experiences at length, EMDR uses a structured process — including bilateral stimulation such as guided eye movements or gentle tapping — to help your brain reprocess stuck memories so they lose their emotional intensity.

Many people who try EMDR describe the same thing: they still remember what happened, but it no longer feels like it's happening now.

Who We Work With

At Living Hope Counseling, we use EMDR to help clients with:

  • PTSD and trauma — from a single incident or from prolonged, repeated experiences

  • Childhood trauma and adverse childhood experiences

  • Anxiety rooted in past events

  • Grief and loss

  • Relationship trauma, including betrayal and emotional abuse

  • Performance anxiety

  • Phobias

You don't need a formal PTSD diagnosis to benefit from EMDR. If you've experienced something that still affects how you feel, think, or respond today, it may be worth exploring.

In-Person and Telehealth Options

We offer EMDR therapy at our Keller office, conveniently located at 1858 Keller Parkway, Ste D — just minutes from Southlake, Keller, Roanoke, and Westlake.

We also offer telehealth EMDR for clients anywhere in Texas. Research supports the effectiveness of EMDR delivered via video, making it a genuine option if traveling to our office isn't practical.

Insurance and Cost

Living Hope Counseling is in-network with most major commercial insurance plans, including:

  • United Healthcare

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

  • Cigna

  • Aetna

  • Optum

We also offer sliding scale fees through our associate and intern therapists when cost is a barrier.
