Sarah Lopez, Student Intern
Dallas Baptist University
I am a graduate counseling student at Dallas Baptist University with a heart for working with children, adolescents, and families. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where clients feel known, valued, and understood as they begin their journey toward healing and growth.
My background includes extensive experience in childcare and children’s ministry, where I have worked with children across a variety of ages, developmental stages, and abilities. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the unique emotional and behavioral needs of young people and strengthened my commitment to walking alongside children and families through life’s challenges.
I enjoy helping children and teens build practical skills such as emotional regulation, coping strategies, and social development, while also supporting families in strengthening connection and communication. I approach each client with warmth, structure, and intentionality—meeting them where they are and helping them move toward greater confidence and resilience.
At Living Hope Counseling, we believe meaningful change happens in the context of trust and relationship. My goal is to provide a compassionate space where clients can discover their strengths, feel supported in difficult seasons, and experience lasting growth.
For families seeking child, teen, or family counseling in Keller, Texas, I am honored to be part of your support system.
