I am a graduate student in the Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling program at Dallas Baptist University. I have a passion in working alongside with children and adolescents. I strive to cultivate a space that instills a sense of safety, welcomeness, and confident support among each individual who enters Living Hope. My heart aims to authentically allow clients and families the freedom to fully embrace becoming seen and known throughout the journey of healing and growth.

I have worked with children for years through church and nannying which has given me a special outlet to experience the unique developments of each child through varying ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Being exposed to such diversity around families has opened my heart and mind toward genuine curiosity of a child’s development. I have a rooted desire to help children and adolescents confidently understand, express, and regulate their emotions in a healthy manner through practices of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I seek to help clients encompass practices around emotional awareness, coping skills, mindfulness, and healthy communication. I believe such tools build confidence, resilience, and emotional stability allowing clients to navigate challenges, develop stronger relationships, and feel more understood in their daily lives.

At Living Hope Counseling, we believe meaningful change happens in the context of trust and relationship. My goal is to provide a compassionate space where clients can discover their strengths, feel supported in difficult seasons, and experience lasting growth.
